The SyncVelo platform
One global telematics platform, not a collection of apps
A shared foundation delivers device gateway, telemetry infrastructure, identity, tenancy, billing, integrations, observability and intelligence. Every product and every role builds on it.
- Single identity & tenancy
- Versioned event contracts
- Real-time by default
- AI with guardrails

Products
Four products, one source of truth
Each product serves a different audience, yet all of them read and write the same canonical data. No exports, no sync jobs, no duplicate devices.
Partner OS
For GPS dealers, distributors and service providers: white-label business, subscriber hierarchy, inventory, installation, billing, support and migrations.
Fleet OS
For commercial fleet and asset operators: live tracking, road rules and alerts, drivers, sensors and fuel, maintenance, driving behaviour scores, reports and KPI dashboards. Routes and dispatch are planned.
Intelligence
For both audiences: a Copilot that answers from the organization's own data, shows the data behind each answer and a price for it, and only reads.
Developer Ecosystem
For integrators and enterprise teams: a versioned REST API with an OpenAPI document, signed webhooks, a TypeScript SDK and a sandbox of simulated vehicles.
Clear responsibilities
Every layer owns exactly what it should
Strict product boundaries keep the platform fast to evolve and safe to operate.
Atlas owns GPS behaviour
Protocol and transport handling, decoding, device connection state, commands, positioning and GPS-specific event processing.
Operations owns business workflows
Reseller tree, plans and billing, organizations and people, devices and SIM cards, drivers and vehicles, maintenance and reports.
Intelligence owns the Copilot
Copilot's read-only tools, the sources under each answer, the price of each answer and the choice of AI provider in SyncVelo HQ.
The platform owns identity & policy
Users, tenants and access controls are consistent across every channel. No browser or external AI connector ever touches engine credentials.
Real-time data path
From GPS packet to customer screen in a single, durable flow
Every location travels the same audited path: decoded, validated, published durably, stored, processed and delivered to the right tenant.
- 01
Device connection
TCP, UDP and HTTP listeners with regional ingress, rate limits and source identity.
- 02
Atlas decoding
Vendor decoder, validation, coordinate and timestamp normalisation, then quality tagging.
- 03
Durable publication
Transactional outbox or durable stream with partition keys, retries and de-duplication.
- 04
State & storage
Latest state in a fast cache, telemetry in a scalable store, business objects in PostgreSQL.
- 05
Processing
Geofence, trip and rule services emit alerts and analytics events.
- 06
Delivery
Tenant-aware WebSocket and SSE fan-out, APIs, apps, webhooks and audit.
Canonical data
Every event speaks the same language
All business and streaming consumers use canonical SyncVelo IDs, never internal engine keys. Every cross-service message is versioned, tenant-scoped and traceable.
- Globally unique device identity, with time-bounded ownership and assignment
- schema_version, event_id, tenant_id, occurred_at and producer on every message
- Quality flags travel with the data: fix validity, time skew and source confidence
- Contract tests and a schema registry keep integrations compatible

Built on technology that is boring in the best way
We chose mature, observable components for each job, and scale them only when real traffic says so.
Atlas GPS Engine
Java and Netty protocol pipelines with regional pools, back-pressure and connection affinity.
Business APIs
Node.js and TypeScript domain services running as stateless replicas with background jobs.
Relational core
PostgreSQL with row-level policy review, partitioning, backups and connection pooling.
Telemetry analytics
A columnar time-series store, chosen by benchmark, with compression and warm/cold tiers.
Event transport
Transactional outbox and queues, moving to Kafka-compatible streaming at scale, idempotent end to end.
Live state & cache
In-memory state with an authorised streaming gateway that handles disconnects, fan-out and eviction.
Media & recordings
Camera recordings are encrypted on the server (AES-256-GCM) and kept in the installation's private object storage, DigitalOcean Spaces or any S3-compatible store. Browsers never reach it: playback comes from the console.
AI workloads
An isolated model gateway with budgets, fallbacks, caching, tracing and continuous evaluation.
Edge & operations
CDN, web application firewall, containerised blue-green and canary releases, SLO alerting.
Every surface
Wherever your teams work
One design system and one API across the web consoles, phones and your own systems.
Web
Responsive partner, fleet and admin consoles with fast, streaming maps.
Phones
The consoles work in the browser on phones, and phones can report as trackers. Native apps are planned.
Desktop
The same consoles in any modern desktop browser. There is no separate desktop app to install.
Browser notifications
Alerts as browser push notifications on desktop and phone, beside email, SMS and WhatsApp.
Copilot in the console
Ask about your fleet in plain language inside the console; every answer shows its sources, and Copilot only reads.
External systems
Your ERP, logistics and partner systems through the REST API, signed webhooks and the TypeScript SDK.

What the platform does today
Counted from what is built and in service, not from projections.
- 268
tracker protocols decoded by the Atlas engine
- 4
notification channels: email, SMS, WhatsApp and push
- 4
map providers, with India's official boundaries
