Retail & shopping centres

Every store and every camera, in one console

Bring the cameras of every store and shopping centre into SyncVelo Vision AI, from any maker, watch any of them live in the browser and record them continuously, on a schedule or around alerts; freezer and chiller sensors connect to IoT OS and raise alerts. Footfall analytics follow.

  • Cameras from any maker
  • Live in about a second
  • Passwords sealed on the server
  • No shopper face recognition

The challenge

What gets in the way today

  • Cameras from different makers, each with its own recorder and app
  • Store managers who cannot see their store when they are away
  • Freezer failures found only when the stock is lost
  • Footfall and occupancy guessed rather than measured

Live view

Available

Every store's cameras, live in one console

Organise cameras by store or by centre, from any maker, and watch any of them live in the browser in about a second, on a desktop or a phone.

  • RTSP cameras and ONVIF Profile S cameras, with stream paths filled in for eleven makers
  • Camera passwords sealed on the server, never sent to a browser
  • Viewers watch, managers add cameras, and every change is audited

Recording

Available

Recording, playback and evidence you can trust

Each camera records continuously, on a schedule or around alerts, encrypted in private storage. A timeline per camera plays back any moment in the browser, exports carry a signed SHA-256 chain over the segments, and privacy masks hide what is not yours to watch in live view, playback and masked exports.

  • Continuous, scheduled or alert recording, with retention that deletes on time
  • Privacy masks, a purpose and an access log for each camera
  • Exports that show whether a clip was changed

Analytics

Roadmap

Footfall, occupancy and after-hours alerts

Vision AI's standard analytics are planned: people counting, occupancy per zone and heat maps, and intrusion and loitering alerts once the doors close.

  • Counting, occupancy, crowd density and heat maps
  • Line crossing, intrusion and loitering
  • Smoke and flame as an early warning beside certified fire alarms, never instead of them

How it fits together

From the cameras you have to one console

No new cameras: Vision AI works with what is already on the wall, and grows with each delivery.

  1. 01

Add each store as a site

A name, an address and a time zone for every store or centre.

  2. 02

    Connect its cameras

Choose the maker and the stream path is filled in; give the address and sign-in once.

  3. 03

    Watch live

Managers and security staff watch any camera in the browser, as their role allows.

  4. 04

    Record, then add analytics

Recording today, continuously, on a schedule or around alerts; counting and after-hours alerts follow on the same cameras, as each is delivered.

Lawful by design

Cameras for safety and operations, not for profiling shoppers

Some things Vision AI will not do, whatever the request.

  • No face recognition of shoppers. Face matching is planned only for access control, with consent, after legal review and where the law allows.
  • No emotion recognition, and nothing that predicts what a person will do.
  • No inferring of sensitive traits, and no face databases scraped from anywhere.

Every capability

Everything on this page, each with its status

Statuses come from SyncVelo's product plan, and a label changes only when its delivery is done. Filter to see what you can use today.
